Christopher Stewart, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University.  He received his PhD from the University of Rochester in 2008.  Prior to attending the University of Rochester, he attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.

At the Ohio State University, he is spearheading research in the following areas: Systems support for sustainable datacenters,  i.e., datacenters that can operate profitably and have a zero-carbon footprint; empirical studies about the performance, performance dependability, and energy consumption of emerging networked applications; scalable, self-sustaining programs that encourage members of  underrepresented groups (broadly construed) to consider research careers.
