Amanda Palmer is a sophomore from Monterey, California at Rice University.  She is a Psychology Major and she is a member of many leadership organizations on campus.  Amanda is involved in research at Rice focusing on personnel selection, training and acquisition of complex tasks.  During the summer, Amanda also participates in research at the Naval Postgraduate School in her hometown, investigating the impact of American intervention on infrastructure in developing countries.  Amanda loves to learn languages, travel, hike and do yoga in her free time.
