Bridgette Bennett
is a junior studying Environmental Engineering and Sociology at Rice University.
She is currently conducting on-campus research with nanotechnology and virus
removal; and she has been fortunate enough to travel to China for an entire summer
to continue similar research with focus on water and toxicology. Bridgette
would love to continue research throughout Graduate school that deals with cleaner,
more efficient use of water and energy resources, then perhaps work with a
National Laboratory devoted to sustainability.
Other activities
she is involved in are Lovett College student government President, Campus Tour
Guide, Peer Academic Advisor, and Powderpuff athlete. Her hometown is Dallas,
TX.
She is proud to
be an ELA scholar!
