Ashraf
Bah is a PhD student in computer science at the University of Delaware. His
main research interests lie between information retrieval, machine learning and
working with large datasets. He was born and raised in Togo. He received his
bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, summa cum laude, from SUNY Plattsburgh.
He believes a lot of things can be achieved through hard work and perseverance,
and he hopes that, in the future, he can make an impact on other minority
students like him, and on our society as a whole.
