 Lamara  D. Warren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri – Columbia (MU).  Additionally, she earned a Post-Masters Certificate in Institutional Research and Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University (IU).  Dr. Warren is currently the Assistant Project Manager for the Alliance for African American Researchers in Computing (A4RC).  Her experiences include service at University of Missouri-Columbia, Washington University in St. Louis, Indiana State University, and Indiana University.  She has devoted over thirteen years to student affairs working in various student affairs roles as an Admissions Representative, Greek Life Advisor, and First-Year Experience Instructor, Residential Leadership Specialist, and Coordinator for Multicultural Student Groups.  Dr. Warren is co-author of an innovative diversity tool, “The Game of Oppression.” Some of Dr. Warren’s areas of interest include:  diversity education and training; social justice issues, leadership, issues of access, college choice, student persistence, and assessment.
