Luz Rocha grew up in Houston, TX and now attends Rice University. He plans on majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Luz enjoys volunteering and helping out the community through DREAM mentoring at Austin High School, removing invasive species at Hermann Park, or helping develop a water distribution system in El Salvador with Engineers Without Borders. Luz is half Mexican and half Salvadorian and he enjoys trying new things and plans on making a difference in society.
