My name is Oscar Rios and I am from Sylmar, California. I am currently a fourth year undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. My interests lie in the field of computational solid mechanics, but as a result of my recent project, I have been intrigued by mechanobiology. Once I graduate, I hope to move on to a doctorate program to further gain knowledge in this emerging field of science. In the long term, if all goes well, I would love to remain in academia and become a professor at a university.
