Joycelyn Streator is an Assistant Professor of Information at Georgia Gwinnett College.  Her teaching and research interests are in the areas of Digital Media and Communication Technologies.  She received her Ph.D. and MBA from Emory University along with a Masters in Digital Media from Georgia Institute of Technology.  Dr. Streator grew up in Dallas, Texas and received her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to her academic credentials, she has worked as a Product Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, and Director of Educational Technology.  Dr. Streator resides in Atlanta, GA  with her husband Jeffrey Streator (also a professor) and  three children ages four, two and seven months.
